Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is one of the largest acute Trusts in England and provides acute care for a local population of 600,000 and 1.2 million people for our tertiary services. We have a turnover of £444 million per year, employ over 8,000 staff based over two main sites (Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital) and provide a range of hospital services, including specialty care for complex conditions.

Over the past few years the Trust has seen some significant developments on its sites with the opening of a £67m Queen’s Centre for Oncology and Haematology, a £48m Centre for Cardiology and Cardiothoracic Surgery and a £12m Medical Research, Day Surgery and Teaching Facility. In addition the purchase of a former Nuffield hospital has enabled us to provide improved accommodation for breast surgery and ENT patients.

“The Trust is one of the CHKS Top 40 hospital trusts in the UK.”
